What exactly are your friends basing their advice and opinions on? A biased story, or one tracked information? - Sometimes I tell my friends only what I want them to hear (neglecting my faults), or sometimes I only talk to them when I'm having problems (and they don't hear about when things are going well).
Your friends want what is best for you, obviously, but sometimes they don't see or hear everything. Maybe you should trust your own intuition.

not all girls go for the dickhead. those who are dumb enough to do that probably shouldn't be ones you want anyway.
girls who havent dealt with enough asshole dont appreciate good guys when they come around.
be who you are... whether its a nice guy or an asshole... because you cant make everyone happy, but youre sure to make someone happy.
