MC: to all the MCs, posted or unposted, about people making eyes at each other in class, or innocent flirting, or not so innocent flirting, or if you think someone is cute: it is the LAST WEEK of class. you have nothing to lose. fucking GO FOR IT. you might be shy, afraid, have too much pride, have too little pride, unsure, cocky or just plain nervous. but you have absolutely nothing to lose by trying.

I know. Otherwise it's left as a "missed connection" and you're left wondering "what could have been".
I've came to realize that sometimes keeping a girl a fantasy is the best thing. Keep the 'dream girl' just a dream so she will forever remain a dream.
I've also came to realize I hype girls up in my head way too much that I've never spoken to, and when I meet them it's always dissapointing.
^ don't. you'll be much happier having normal standards and no expectations. meeting girls/guys is not about them living up to the fantasy image you constructed in your head, and checking off a list, but about slowly getting to know them and finding out the good things about them and what makes them so special in their interactions with you.
I agree with the last poster.
But... there's a chance that I might have them in my classes next term, so it could be awkward.
striking up a conversation won't hurt.
the chance never even came up for a conversation alone, and now class is over. i guess it wasn't meant to be.

Props to whoever posted this pep talk. I was about to ask this guy out for coffee on Thursday, but he had to leave early (out of the blue) -- so, more like "missed/wasted opportunities". Fuck. We hardly have any time alone. :(
Anything can happen over the holidays...and it's going to be one torturous Christmas. I hope he doesn't change once Winter term hits.
