MC: Not an MC, just a suggestion: I think that the Imprint should dedicate a full page (or 2) on publishing all the MCs mentioned here for the pure sake of those who has never touched this site before, and posters here who hope to get their message heard someday. Most of the student body read the Imprint (esp. the MC section like me!), so if we could get the online MCs here published, then everyone can be in the loop -- there will be more awareness, and perhaps, increased chances of connecting with your MC! I'm quite serious about this as I am a victim of a neglected MC, and it's frustrating. I think it might be a legit idea -- after all, people love reading MCs (at least that's the first section that I look at when I grab a fresh copy of the Imprint!). Feedback is welcome! Thanks.

"most of the student body reads imprint" not really true, but otherwise, it is a good idea to gain this website more readership. except i know for a fact many of imprint's MCs are fake, so i dunno how that would go over by combining WTF and imprint's.

also, i doubt people @ imprint would support this idea because the creator of OMGUW is a staff in imprint.

Is it this site's fault that OMGUW's creator failed horribly at keeping up his site?

Wow, get any more pathetic.

Maybe you should've taken a shot before it became a missed connection. Do you really think you deserve another chance after you blew the initial opportunity?

You lost him/her when you didn't say anything the first time, and you only have yourself to blame. Next time, take advantage of opportunities when they are thrown in your face.

so, 1:09, you're saying that life's situations ALWAYS work in your favour? that when people meet, and are interested in each other, circumstances ALWAYS allow them to take it further?

...yeah, thought so.

lol @ op thinking so hard about this.

There's a reason why the MC feature of Imprint was gone for a while and is back in such a small capacity now a days....the story's floating around

WTF UW is perfectly fine

imprint needs to bring back "ask shaniqua" and leave missed connections to wtfuw

OP here!

Thanks for the suggests and constructive comments. I know this idea won't pass but just putting it out there for curiousity sake. :P

@1:09, you're quite right, I'm the one who ends up at fault and regrets it. It sucks majorly, but life goes on I guess.

@3:09, nothing wrong with this site, I just think it's convenient for people to get access to the same info on the Imprint and on here as well

@12:52, I liked "Ask Shaniqua"! What happened to her?

Shaniqua was the only reason I picked up a copy of the Imprint every week. Hopefully she'll be back next term.

Bring "Ask Shaniqua" back!

AGREED 12:52. shaniqua was the only interesting thing about imprint.

leaving the MCs to WTF-UW makes sense too, at least there's a chance for people to reconnect with their MC online than from a newspaper.

Imprint is only good for the crossword, and even it has a handfull of spelling mistakes

If you DARE bring Ask Shaniqua back, expect my ass in the Imprint office to get a refund.

If they bring Ask Shaniqua back, don't be surprised if students vote against further funding.
